MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. Receives Order Twenty-one (21) numbers of the container cranes in Vietnam

MITSUI E&S Co., Ltd. (President: Takeyuki Takahashi, Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "we") has received an order from Petro Vietnam Phuoc An Port Investment & Operation Joint Stock Company (hereinafter "PAP"), an upcoming port operator funded by the Vietnamese government, for five (5) units of Ship to Shore Gantry Cranes Mitsui-Paceco Portainer) and Sixteen (16) environmentally-friendly Electric Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (Mitsui-Paceco Transtainer) in July 2024.

Phuoc An Port is being developed by PAP as the first container terminal in the southern Vietnamese province of Dong Nai, and is expected to become one of the largest logistics hubs in Vietnam as it is located between central Ho Chi Minh City and the new Long Thanh International Airport, scheduled to open in 2025.

Together with four (4) units of Mitsui-Paceco Portainer and nine (9) units of Mitsui-Paceco Transtainer scheduled for handing over in September 2024, our delivery record for Phuoc An Port now reached nine (9) units of Mitsui-Paceco Portainer and 25 units of Mitsui-Paceco Transtainer.

We have delivered twenty-six (26) units of Mitsui-Paceco Portainer and one-hundred thirty-two (132) units of Mitsui -Paceco Transtainer in the last 10 years, the largest share of Vietnamese market, and this order was selected for recognition of our reliable quality and high technological capability.

As a pioneering crane manufacturer, we will continue to provide high-quality cranes and contribute to the container terminal business of customers in and outside Japan.
